Why a beta
Open the door before the till is live
The catalog, photos, cart, pickup, and parcel options work today. Checkout is a hold, not a paid order. Nothing is billed. Pieces on the floor are fake until we say otherwise.
If you are staffing the shop, sign in, photograph a piece, write the wear, and publish. Mark sample pieces clearly until real inventory is on.

The room
Stone walls, oak, and window glass
The look of the shop is the look of the site: burgundy quilts, honey oak, teal bottles in the window, lanterns with ribbon still on them. Pieces are photographed as found.
